Best selling author Hanna Sillitoe at Towcester Food Festival

6th March 2017

Best selling author Hanna Sillitoe will tell her inspiring story at Towcester Food Festival in June.

Hanna, 37, had suffered throughout her adult life with psoriasis, a debilitating skin condition which leaves the body covered in painful, scaly rash.

At one stage, it was so bad that Hanna wrapped herself in clingfilm to stop her clothes rubbing against her red, raw skin.

Told by doctors there was no cure, she took matters into her own hand and transformed her diet with skin friendly recipes.

She ditched alcohol, sugar, gluten, dairy and meat, began a juice cleanse and within a month her angry blotches had gone.

Her first book, Radiant, which includes her skin-friendly recipes, has shot into the Amazon best-seller list.

Hanna said: “After 30 days on the diet, I went out in a T-shirt for the first time in 20 years. After 60 days, my skin was completely clear.”

Hanna went on to shed four stone in weight and is now the picture of good health, slim and tanned.
