Bursary Scheme

From acorns, oak trees grow. Each year, we offer start-ups

Towcester Food Festival helps new food businesses get off the ground by offering bursary places to start-ups: people who have big ideas but begin small.

To apply for a bursary in 2017, please send a 250 word summary of your business to us letting us know why you deserve a place. Bursary places are open to start-ups based in Northamptonshire, who have been trading for under a year.

“I was one of the lucky recipients of a bursary and I would encourage any start-up foodie business to apply for a bursary. It was an incredible couple of days...great exposure for my business, a sell-out of my cakes on both days and a great way to connect with other local food and drink businesses (forging friendships and business relationships in the process). Months later, I was still getting commissions from people who told me they first saw me and had my cakes at the Towcester Food Festival. I am so glad I decided to apply for a bursary and hugely grateful to Crispin and the team for the opportunity.”

Vicky Robertson, from The Happy Little Cake Company in Northampton.

“I won in 2015. It is my favourite festival!"
